Law Enforcement

ZISTOS TACTICAL SYSTEMS are employed to great effect by both SWAT teams and small police departments to conduct tactical and surveillance operations. These systems contain color, infrared and thermal imaging camera options to gain visual dominance in all situations. The infrared cameras produce invisible light and are very low light sensitive, which allow them to work in total darkness. The thermal imaging cameras, which do not require illumination, not only operate in total darkness, but can see through smoke and tear gas as well. On-the-spot Interchangeability between any camera type and pole extension means always having the right tool for the job—even when the situation at hand may not always be known in advance.

PHYSICAL SEARCH SYSTEMS are used by law enforcement personnel to search buildings, vehicles, cargo, etc. These systems use low light sensitive color cameras with visible illumination and work very well in total darkness, as well as daylight.

THERMAL CAMERA
	The Dual Mode Thermal Camera is Zistos’ most capable camera for detecting human activity in many tactical and security scenarios. The Dual Mode Thermal Camera combines two types of technology, thermal imaging and low light sensitive CCD, into one camera making an extremely powerful and versatile camera for tactical missions. The thermal imaging technology, which can detect heat signatures through smoke, fog and tear gas, can quickly locate the human activity. The low light sensitive, high resolution BW CCD camera with infrared illumination can then provide much more detail to better assess the situation. VIDEOSCOPE, FIBERSCOPE & BORESCOPE KITS
	Videoscopes, Fiberscopes and Borescopes allow access into areas through much smaller openings that the standard cameras and are popular complements to any system. Videoscopes, which offer 4-way articulation, provide a much better image than fiberscopes and borescopes, almost always making the best choice. Fiberscopes, which offer either 2-way or 4-way articulation, have the advantage of being usable without a monitor, by viewing the image directly through the eyepiece. Borescopes, which do not articulate, provide either right angle or straight views, making them the best choice for certain situations. All Videoscope, Fiberscope, and Borescope Kits are compatible with the WalkAbout II™ monitor. All kits include a camera cable, battery powered light source, guide tube and rugged carry case. UNDER THE DOOR CAMERA
	The Zistos line of Under-the-Door Cameras are state-of-the-art cameras that provide video and audio surveillance of rooms with closed, locked or barricaded doors. Two models are available. The Dual View UDC provides an upward view of the back of the door, as well as a view into the room, while the classic Single View UDC provides only a view into the room. A tiny CCD camera (or in the case of the Dual View UDC, two tiny CCD cameras) with infrared illumination and microphone in the tongue are able to slip under doors with as little as 1/4" clearance. The low light sensitive camera, infrared illumination and frame integrating feature provides a quality image of a room in total darkness. The specialized pole included in the kit allows the camera to be maneuvered while standing to the side of the door, providing for officer safety.	Under-the-Door PDF

ROBOTS
	The Recon Scout Robot is a miniature, remote controlled, two wheeled, robotic camera, ideally suited for tactical video surveillance. The extremely rugged Recon Scout Robot is designed to be thrown into position, land on its wheels and self-right upon moving. The simple to use joystick operated controller connects to any WalkAbout or Video Monocle.
