TWO
WAY AUDIO MODULE
Zistos
has introduced a new audio module with two-way communication,
model AAM-TB. This new module is intended
for rescue applications, providing a means to communicate
with a trapped victim.
The Two-way Audio Module, which connects
between any pole and any camera, contains a mini hifi speaker
and amplifier, allowing a rescuer to speak to a trapped victim.
It also contains a microphone and microphone circuit, which
amplifies any low level sounds and limits any loud sounds,
allowing the rescuer to listen for victims.
The Two-way Audio Module is supplied with
a rugged headset and push-to-talk push button, an integrated
volume control and boom microphone.
The Listen-only Audio Module, model AAM,
is still available and is intended for tactical applications.
Rescue Systems can now be ordered with either the new Two-way
Audio Module or the existing listen-only audio module.

DUAL
VIEW UNDER-THE-DOOR
Zistos
has once again improved the capability of their popular
Under-the-Door Camera (ZSV) used for tactical
surveillance missions. Our latest design, the Dual-View
Under-the-Door Camera (ZDV), features two high-resolution,
low-light image sensors that toggle from one to the other.
It employs infrared illumination, video-frame integration
and an ultra-sensitive audio microphone. When inserted under
a door the first or forward-looking sensor allows the user
to covertly view 15-20' into a dark room—facilitating
a quick assessment of any hidden threat in the room’s
interior. The camera can then transition to the second sensor
which is designed to provide a high-resolution image of
the door knob and frame. This can help ascertain whether
the door is barricaded or rigged with an explosive.
To ensure user safety, the Dual-View Under-the-Door Camera
is supplied with a 6' telescoping pole that allows the camera
to be deployed and panned at a safe distance from the door.
As with all Zistos products, the ZDV is fully compatible
with all existing Zistos tactical surveillance systems and
other components.the faintest of sounds.
Zistos still offers the classic single view Under-the-Door
Camera for budget conscience purchases. The single view
offers all the same features as the Dual View, except it
does not have the upward pointing view of the back of the
door.

ZOOM
CAMERA
Zistos
has introduced a low-light sensitive, Color Zoom Camera
(WPC-2.5Z) with white light illumination—ideal
for situations that require both wide angle and telephoto
views. The camera offers a multitude of practical applications
for use in tactical, industrial and security situations
while minimizing the need to carry and swap camera heads.
The 10X Optical Zoom capability brings out the smallest
of details allowing the user to zoom in on an object while
maintaining full image resolution. Like all Zistos cameras,
the zoom camera is both rugged and waterproof.
The WPC-2.5Z Zoom camera works with a specially designed,
dedicated pole with built-in zoom control buttons or any
existing Zistos pole with the optional zoom control adapter.

Portable
Network Surveillance Camera
with Radiological Alarm Option
IDEAL
FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT, DISASTER MANAGEMENT & HOMELAND SECURITY
APPLICATIONS |
| Zistos
Corporation announces the Portable Network Surveillance Camera
(PNSC) system which offers a built-in radiological alarm sensor
as an option. The PNSC is designed to provide a turn-key solution
for field surveillance and radiological monitoring applications,
where no power or pre-existing networks are available. This self-contained,
self-powered system allows for dynamic deployment of single or
multiple video surveillance cameras in the field.
The PNSC is rugged and completely weatherproof. It consists of
a pole-mounted day/night camera with
a vari-focal lens (allowing adjustment of the lens magnification),
mounted to the carrying case. It’s available with either
covert IR or white light illumination. Video information is transmitted
as IP data using a wireless 802.11 transmitter to any pc or laptop
equipped with a wireless 802.11 interface.
Up to six PNSC cameras can be viewed on a single computer using
the standard configuration (expandable with additional hardware).
Motion alarms can be programmed into the system to indicate changes
to select areas of the video image. An optional built-in Gamma
alarm sensor can annunciate elevated radiological levels along
with the video.
System
applications include: construction site surveillance, school sporting
event security, hostage barricades, VIP and mobile asset security,
special event security, and many others.
Features:
• Remote video surveillance with an optional radiological
alarm sensor available
• Covert illumination – 100 feet
• Programmable motion alarm uses video image changes
• Battery power lasts over 12 hours
• Pole-mounted illuminator and camera
• All-weather design — small and compact, easily
transports in a single case
• Day Night Camera for good daytime and night time surveillance
applications
• View video and record in the field on any computer
• Expandable up to 6 PNSC systems at a time
• 500 foot range |

Tough Grabber
for Remote Viewing of Portable Video Inspection on a PC or Laptop |
Tough
Grabber receives a wireless video signal from the popular
WalkAbout II™ Video Inspection System capturing the image
for display on a computer. This powerful tool allows a second
set of eyes to view critical images in real-time, assess and assist
in generating an action or response to the situation all from
a remote location. It facilitates a quick, easy set-up of a remote
viewing station or command center for tactical, rescue or industrial
inspection scenarios while streaming real-time video and sending
images with laptops employed in field.
The Tough Grabber is a stand alone, battery-powered,
RF receiver with a video frame grabber using a watertight, external
USB interface to receive and convert the data packaged in a rugged,
waterproof enclosure.
Tough Grabber uses Zistos software, allowing
the user remote access to real-time video images generated by
the body worn display. The software enables the user to create
a record of the images and offers features to like adding text,
reference measurements and adjusting image quality.

Recon
Scout Robot |
With
the introduction of their Video Monocle (VM),
Zistos now offers a portable tactical surveillance video system
that is completely covert. The VM provides high resolution video
from any of Zistos’ many cameras and poles, while eliminating
the telltale glow that comes from pole mounted, body worn or wrist
worn LCD displays. The waterproof and rugged VM
is helmet mounted and has a form fitting eyecup that provides
a tight seal to the eye socket to maintain total stealth. A large,
high resolution image equivalent to a sixteen inch diagonal screen
viewed at one meter exposes the tiniest of details. The Video
Monocle is available as an optional accessory or as part
of a complete Zistos tactical surveillance system.

Zistos
has expanded the capabilities of its systems by adding a miniature,
remote controlled, two wheeled, robotic camera. The Recon
Scout Robot is ideally suited for tactical video surveillance,
EOD missions and many remote video inspection applications.
The extremely rugged Recon Scout Robot is designed
to be thrown into position, land on its wheels and self-right
upon moving. The
simple to use joystick operated controller connects to any WalkAbout
or Video Monocle. The low light sensitive BW camera in the robot
works well in the dark.
The Recon Robot can be added to any system at any time.

| Dual
Mode Thermal Camera for Tactical & Rescue Applications |
Zistos
has combined two extremely complementary video camera technologies
(thermal imaging and high resolution video) in a single, ultra
slim, modular camera head that attaches to any of our extension
poles. Optimized for US&R and tactical missions alike, the
Dual Mode Thermal Camera (THC-50D) provides
extreme benefits to both applications.
Relative to US&R, the THC-50D is the only
remote dual thermal imaging camera designed to fit within a
standard 2-inch diameter core hole typically used by technical
search specialists to breach a void space in search of entrapped
victims following a structure collapse. Electronic switching
between camera types is instantaneous by using the same control
that provides variable illumination for the video camera. Immediate
correlation between the two images allows US&R specialists
to conduct searches more thoroughly and expediently.
In tactical applications, the Dual Mode Thermal Camera
can see covertly using either heat signature or standard video
images to establish visual dominance over the enemy. The THC-50D
fits on any Zistos articulating pole to provide access into
areas that are either unsafe or impossible to enter.
